2002 American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologist (ACVA) Written Examination -

May 31 (Friday) and June 1 (Saturday) in Lexington, Kentucky

                The 2002 American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologist (ACVA) written examination is scheduled for May 31 (Friday) and June 1 (Saturday) in Lexington, Kentucky at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. The test will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days with an hour for lunch, scheduled from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

 

                The examination will be administered in Salon A at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel on both days, the first day being the basic portion and the second day the applied portion.  Lunch will be provided on both days just outside of  Salon A (Friday) or near the exam room (Saturday).  Snacks and beverages may be brought into the examination room.

 

                The examination will consist of 200 multiple choice questions (morning) and a selection of 5 of 8 essay questions to answer in the afternoon.  This format will be followed on both days.

 

                Candidates are advised to be present approximately 30 minutes prior to initiation of the examination to receive instructions.
