2006 ACVA Written Examination

 

               The 2006 American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists written examination is scheduled for May 26 (Friday) and May 27 (Saturday) in Lexington, Kentucky at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel.    The test will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days with a mandatory hour for lunch from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM.  The first day (Friday) is the basic examination with the multiple choice portion (200 questions) from 8:00AM to 12:00PM and the essay portion (5 questions answered from a selection of 8) from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.   The second day (Saturday) will be the applied examination with the same format.

 

               The examination room at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel will be Salon G (subject to change).  Lunch will be provided on both days.  Snacks and beverages may be brought into the examination room.  Deadline for reservations is APRIL 24th.   Room rates are approximately $80 per night.   The Four-Points Sheraton is located 10 minutes from Lexington Bluegrass Airport.  The hotel has an indoor/outdoor pool, small exercise facility and a restaurant; and is located near two fast food facilities and a convenience store.
