Our Hospital Canada West accepts patients on a referral basis from practitioners located throughout BC, the Yukon, Alberta and the US Pacific Northwest. Total patient visits exceeded 11,000 in 2007. Opened in 2005, our 17,000 square foot hospital includes four surgery suites, a separate ICU, dedicated emergency triage room, computerized radiographs, three ultrasound units, in-house CT and MRI and a rehabilitation service including underwater treadmill.

The Rehabilitation Service supports the multi-disciplinary services provided by our specialists. Plans for an Anaesthesia Service at Canada West
In an exciting move for the hospital as a whole, we are recruiting a fulltime Anaesthesiologist to develop an Anaesthesia service for Canada West. Our ideal candidate will have a stellar reputation as a specialist in private practice or a veterinary teaching hospital, combined with an exceptional track record as a trainer/mentor of veterinary technicians. He or she will be responsible for the establishment of an efficient and effective service that will anticipate the needs of our growing practice and provide for the on-going development of anaesthesia skills among our veterinary technicians.
